In addition to being my best friends, my golden retrievers Ruby & Sparky do amazing work in the vineyards to scare away deer and birds away from the tempting fruit. Ruby loves running through the vineyard rows, chasing away any wildlife she can spot.
Pinot Noir is often called "the heart-break grape" because it's so delicate. I blend our Pinot Noir primarily from our Oliver vineyard for fruit ripeness, blended with some fruit from our Kelowna vineyards for fresh acidity. Resulting in an elegant and distinctly Okanagan style.
